Alpha OS
What is Alpha OS?
Alpha OS is Trading Alpha's membership for active traders. It brings together Pulse (whole-market context), the Screener, Alpha Charts (included from Nov 1), Alpha Lists, Alpha Guide (an AI assistant) and AlphaX (the members-only community), plus every Alpha Vault indicator, all built on the same Alpha signals.
Do I need a TradingView subscription?
Not for Alpha OS. Its Alpha signals are built in: you scan for them in the Screener and see them drawn natively in Alpha Charts, right in your browser. Alpha Vault, our original indicator set, currently runs on TradingView and needs an account there.
Is Alpha Charts included?
Yes. Alpha Charts is included in Alpha OS from Nov 1, with every Alpha signal drawn natively, your drawings and alerts, and every Vault indicator.
What is Alpha Vault?
Alpha Vault is our original indicator suite, plus Discord access. Alpha Vault members get the indicators on TradingView. Every Vault indicator is also included in Alpha OS.
Which markets and timeframes are covered?
4,000+ US stocks and ETFs and 500+ crypto pairs on 1H, 4H, 6H, 1D, 1W and 1M, plus 60+ FX pairs, commodities and indices on 4H, 1D and 1W. Crypto also includes the TOTAL, TOTAL2, TOTAL3 and OTHERS market-cap indexes.
How often is the data updated?
Stocks are scanned every hour during the US session and again after the close, with weekly and monthly scans on Fridays. Crypto runs around the clock: hourly for 1H, every 4 hours for 4H, every 6 hours for 6H, and several times a day for 1D and 1W. Signals on a candle that hasn't closed yet can still change.
Do prices match TradingView?
Stock charts and signals use traded prices, not dividend-adjusted prices, so levels line up with what you see on TradingView. Market data comes from third-party providers and can occasionally be delayed or differ slightly.
Does Alpha OS place trades for me?
No. Alpha OS never places, changes or cancels orders. Alerts and Alpha Stops are notifications only, and connected brokerage accounts are read-only.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Alpha OS runs in your phone's browser; there is nothing to install. Turn your phone sideways and Alpha Charts fills the screen, and you can turn on browser notifications for AlphaX.
Membership and billing
How much is Alpha OS?
Alpha OS is annual at $2,799 per year (about $233 a month, charged up front), a Black Friday price down from $3,499 that includes 6 months of AlphaX Premium Content free. Alpha OS Premium, the same premium content as our X subscriptions and more, is an add-on at $1,188 per year ($99 a month). There is no monthly plan. Interested in lifetime access? Contact Jess at manage@tradingalpha.io.
What happens after I buy?
Right after checkout you sign a short membership agreement through DocuSign. Then create your login at app.tradingalpha.io/register/ using the same email you used at checkout, and you're in.
Does my membership renew automatically?
Yes, every year on the anniversary of your sign-up date, until you turn off renewal. You can do that any time in the billing portal or by emailing manage@tradingalpha.io. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final, including renewals, so please turn off renewal before your renewal date if you don't want to continue. See the Subscriptions & Refunds policy.
I paid but I can't get in. What should I do?
Make sure you finished signing the agreement and that you registered with your checkout email. If it still isn't working after 15 minutes, email manage@tradingalpha.io with the subject "ACCESS NOT ACTIVATED".
AlphaX and community
What is AlphaX?
AlphaX is the members-only trading community inside Alpha OS: a feed for ideas and trades, live shows with replays, profiles, leaderboards and a private journal. Before posting, members accept a short set of participation rules.
What does "Verified" mean on a trade?
A trade is Verified only if the price posted actually traded in the market in the 30 minutes before it was posted. Otherwise it's labelled Self-reported and left out of rankings and points. Verified checks the price, not the member's account or results.
Is there a free community?
Yes. The Trading Alpha Discord is free to join, with 47,000+ members. AlphaX is the members-only community inside Alpha OS.
AI, data and privacy
What is Alpha Guide?
An AI assistant inside the Screener. Ask why a ticker matched, what a signal means, or which filters fit an idea. Like any AI it can make mistakes, so treat its answers as a starting point.
Is my brokerage connection safe?
Brokerage connections are optional and read-only through SnapTrade. We can see account names, balances and holdings, but we can't trade, and we never receive your brokerage password.
Is this financial advice?
No. Alpha OS is market-analysis software and education. Signals are observations to investigate, not instructions to buy or sell. See the Risk Disclosure.
